Dana Vutera is a well-known insurance advisor, field underwriter, and educator in Baton Rouge. Hundreds of Louisiana & Texas families have profited from his advice over the past 28 years, and he has advised government employees, teachers, physicians, and business executives approaching retirement. Dana has developed a specialty in teaching retirees and those who are about to retire how to avoid the most common and costly financial mistakes.
Dana has served on the boards of the Society of Financial Services Professionals, the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, and the Baton Rouge Association of Health Underwriters. He is one of Louisiana's most informative speakers.
Dana is a lifelong resident of Baton Rouge and a graduate of the Louisiana State University College of Business Administration. He has used his financial acumen to benefit hundreds of families as well as the local community, serving as President of the Cortana Kiwanis Club and as Charter President of the Kiwanis Club of the Oaks. As Kiwanis Lt. Governor, he also founded the City of Central Kiwanis Club. Dana has co-chaired the Baton Rouge Downtown Christmas Parade, and he's a past chairman of the Pelican State Friends of NRA.
Dana and his wife, the former Sheri Polozola, live with their three children in Sherwood Forest, and Sheri is a 2nd grade teacher at St. Thomas More school. When he's not helping people to lead more successful lives, Dana enjoys hunting and fishing with his children.
